Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reserve a Tee Time?
Reservations may be made in person, online, or by phoning the Golf Shop at (480) 354-1234. Tee times may be made up to 7 days by phone or in person or up to 30 days in advance when booking online. American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are accepted.

Do you have leagues?
Yes. Augusta Ranch has several leagues; Ladies, Mens, Mixed. For more information click here.

When are you open?
Everyday except for Christmas from Sunrise to Sunset. However, you can reach us by phone 24 hours a day at (480) 354-1234.

Is there a dress code at Augusta Ranch?
Yes. We recommend golf attire and soft spikes.

Do you permit walking or is a cart required?
Walking golfers are always welcome at Augusta Ranch.

Are Rental Sets available?
Men's, Women's, Juniors and left-handed rental sets are available upon request.

Do you offer golf instruction?
Yes. Please click on the Golf Instruction tab for details.

Is there a practice facility?
In addition to our multi-targeted full length driving range, golfers can fine-tune their game on our large putting greens, chipping area with practice bunker.

Who designed Augusta Ranch?
Bill Phillips, Phillips Design of Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Phillips also designed Lake Powell National in Page, Arizona.

Do you allow Juniors to play Augusta Ranch?
Yes. Juniors under 14 must play with a parent or guardian. Juniors over 14 may play by themselves if they have been through a golf training program. You must be 18 years old to drive a golf cart.

Who manages Augusta Ranch?
Your Course manages all operations of Augusta Ranch. President Don Rea started his golf career at Augusta Ranch working Outside Services on opening day back on January 15, 1999.

 PGA Junior League

PGA Junior League is a game-changing program that brings friends and family together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching from our professionals here at Augusta Ranch Golf Club. We are pleased to once again offer this team golf activity for girls and boys ages 17 and under of all skill levels.

The kids wear numbered jerseys and play on co-ed teams with their friends. They compete in a two-person scramble format that builds confidence and encourages sportsmanship.

We are hosting our own in-house league. All practices and matches take place right at Augusta Ranch.

PGA Jr. League is a healthy and safe activity that gets kids outdoors, and its scramble format builds confidence and encourages sportsmanship among boys and girls of all skill levels.

Saturday Junior Clinic

Precision Golf Academy's Mini Masters Series is a great opportunity to get your junior golfer into the game and/or help them improve on skills that they have already learned.  Our PGA Associates Brooke Aboud and Michael Berger lead this classes for golfers ages 5 to 9 years old.  Keep an eye on our schedule for the next four week session.

  PGA Junior League

Camp Highlights:
  • Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by PGA of America Golf Professionals.
  • Signature PGA Camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
  • A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
  • Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps : Designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment.
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Modified Full Day Camps
 : An opportunity for advanced beginner to intermediate level golfers to continue to improve their technical skills but also begin the process of understanding course management, shot selection and simple stat tracking. Participants are segmented into small groups based on their experience level to create a more favorable learning environment for all.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate.
