August Ranch Golf Teaching staff is committed to helping golfers get the most from their golf game. The five instructors hold weekly clinics that will introduce golf to the beginner, brush off the cobwebs from a layoff from golf or simply help the average golfer determine if they need or want one on one instruction.
Joshua Levi Bryant - Head Golf Professional
Mr. Bryant has been a part of the Augusta Ranch Golf Club for 10 years. He currently manages all aspects of golf operations.
Joshua attended Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in Political Science and Business. His merchandising experience came from working for Ralph Lauren for a little over a year. He has played in many amateur as well as professional golf events which includes the U.S. Junior Amateur and the Arizona Open. He has given countless lessons and is currently an instructor for two young men who received scholarships to the University of Colorado.
Joshua grew up in Ohio and moved to Arizona his senior year of high school. He graduated from Gilbert High School and earned All State Honors in Golf. He is a certified Titleist and Nike Club fitter and is currently on staff with Nike. In June 2008 he passed his Playing Ability Test for the PGA
Don worked as a Minor League Professional Umpire for nine years before joining the golf business in 1999 starting at Augusta Ranch Golf Club. He became a Class – A member of the PGA of America in 2002 when he transferred to the Golf Club at Eagle Mountain. Mr. Rea was formerly the Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Development for Platinum Golf Properties in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain was ranked #1 Public Golf Course in Arizona in 2006 and 2007 under his direction while achieving record breaking years of profitability. In addition, Augusta Ranch Golf Club has been rated the “Best Executive Golf Course in Arizona” by the Arizona Republic and was selected “Host Club of the Year” by the Arizona Women’s Golf Association.
He is a Certified PGA Professional in General Management and serves as Vice President for the Southwest Section PGA. Don chairs the SWSPGA Finance Committee. He also is on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Tourism Alliance. Mr. Rea attended San Diego State University and University of Nevada, Las Vegas, studying Aerospace Engineering.
Don and his wife Karen purchased Augusta Ranch Golf Club in July 2008 with the help of the Your Source Private Equity Fund. He is married with a 20 year old son and 7 year old daughter
Don has taught over 500 lessons and loves to work with Beginners to Advanced. His hands on approach makes both Juniors and Seniors aloke relaxed and receptive to learn.
Dale has been a PGA Member for over 18 years and has helped hundreds of players find their game. His patience sincere approach and high expectations for your game will ensure your development as a player.
